Truro City's Jersey Crew 2009 ...

Jane Deards, Truro City Swimming Club's Head Coach took a squad of twelve swimmers to compete in the AIB Tigers 28th Autum Open Meet in Jersy last weekend. The annual event which attracts a number of international swimming clubs and is held over 3 days in the 25 metre Harve Des Pas Swimming Pool at St. Helie, Jersy.

The meet saw a number of great swims over the 3 day meet with the team amassing an impressive haul of 26 medals.

Stars of the weekend were Kay de Courcy (2 golds, 4 silvers and 2 bronzes) and Luke Hollis (1 gold, 2 silvers and 2 bronzes). Kay also won the senior girls ‘Skins’ sprint competition and Luke was runner up in the junior boys ‘Skins’
