Truro City Swimming Club off to a good start in the Area National Swimming League Round 1 ...

Truro City Swimming Club travelled to Hutton Moor leisure centre on the 9th October 2010, to compete in the Arena National Swimming League, Division one round one.

All the swimmers boarded the bus at Truro for the 4 hour journey both excited and with some uncertainty for the first round of the league held at Weston-super-mare. For most of the swimmers it was their first competition of the season, but also for many of the younger members it a chance to compete for the first time in their first National League event.

With a good lane draw Truro swam a strong round against 5 rival clubs getting many 1st (11) and 2nd (19) places in both the relays and individual swims, leaving them lying in 2nd place with 226 points just 5 off the top spot at the end of the meet.
